GROW is for students who are serious about agriculture, life sciences, or natural resources and ready to make a commitment before they graduate high school. Here is how to apply.

Check eligibility

You must be a high school student committed to attending MSU's College of Agriculture. Any background welcome — production ag, science, rural, or beyond.

Complete the application

Submit your application, transcript, two letters of recommendation, and a personal statement.

Selection

Selected applicants are notified and matched with a MAES center based on interests, research fit, and station capacity.

Sign your commitment agreement

Accepted scholars sign a Program Commitment Agreement confirming their enrollment at MSU and summer placement.
